Since the early times, man has been constantly building and implementing new tolls and methods which could help them increase their productivity, along with saving time and decreasing the use of man power. New ideas, such as the domestication of animals, agriculture and the invention of the wheel have transformed man from a crude, primitive being to a more organised, social being (as more free time resulted in socialization).
Today, more and more tools and ideas are being developed in order to satisfy the importune demand of the new man, which is now obsessed with technology. The new man is tying every possible technique in order to increase in productivity and this era of speed, to become the fastest, faster than other person.
People have become addicted and bound to machines and have subjected themselves to a complete change of mind frame, craving for the instantaneous capability in every thing.
For example, people are so dependent on technology and machinery that they rely on them for work as well as recreation and ignoring their physical self.
However, completely putting of technology and machinery is incorrect too. Computers have simplified our work. Now we can talk to people miles away, thanks to telephones and undersea cables. Guglielmo Marconi made it possible to connect remote places through wireless technology.
It is the unjustified use of technology which has corrupted our lifestyle, not the introduction of technology. People use calculators for incredibly small calculations. For everything, we first consult the Internet rather than asking more experienced people. In short we are so obsessed with technology that we have forgotten our own self. Even if we care about ourselves, we just care about the virtual self, not our physical being.
New technology and machinery both have their pros and cons. Completely supporting or putting of it altogether is incorrect. The judicious use of it is justified.
